White fall at the Grange Dimière

White Fall was a video filmed spontaneously at Les Grandes Ateliers, Villefontaine at the end of four days of investigating, with Alexandra Engelfriet and Will Menter, the behaviour of white kaolin slip poured from a height

​

During my solo installation at the Grange Dimière in 2021, this video was projected onto a hanging cloth onto which I had poured,  from a height, various coloured liquid clays. It shows the relationship of the moving slip being poured on my body with that of the fixed gestures of the poured clay, captured on cloth. This is the video shown here.
